The duration of this Kruger Park Safari is flexible. Options include 3, 4 and 5 day itineraries. Please note that the 3 day safari does not include the Balule Experience.

Transfer options to the Kruger National Park include:

Day 1: Tremisana Lodge in Balule Game Reserve, Kruger

You will be transported from Gauteng via the Highveld farmlands and the picturesque Lowveld to Tremisana. Upon arrival, you may rest in your room or have a refreshing dip in the sparkling pool under the warm African sun. Thereafter you embark on a sunset game drive aboard a 4x4 open safari vehicle with an experienced guide.

You get your first glimpse of Africa’s breathtaking beauty and wildlife and experience the variety of flora and fauna in this area. Watch the African sunset, and, when darkness falls, make use of spotlights to spot nocturnal animals. Dinner is served in the Boma and will feature traditional South African cuisine. After a long, adventurous day, you retire to your comfortable, air-conditioned en suite thatch-roofed chalet.

Day 2: The Balule Experience

Awaken at sunrise for a thrilling day of unforgettable wildlife and nature experiences. You explore a remote part of the Balule Plains, where you revel in a four hour “walk in the wild.” Your experienced field guide will guide you through the African bush in search of the Big Five. The thrill of following Africa’s large animals and approaching close enough to capture a good photo will stay with you forever. 

You return to the Tremisana Lodge for brunch, after which you may swim, relax or just stroll around and enjoy the gardens and relaxing surroundings. After tea you embark on an afternoon safari game drive to get a closer view of the Big Five animals of Africa, then return to your African safari chalet for dinner.

Day 3: Kruger National Park

You drive to the Orpen Gate of the Kruger National Park, where you transfer to a custom-made open-sided Game viewer. The open safari vehicle allows for unlimited wildlife and photographic opportunities. So don’t forget your cameras. Your qualified Kruger Park safari guide will show you countless animals and birds that frequent this wildlife haven. Animals you may spot include Zebra, Giraffe, Antelope and Lions. You have regular stops at picnic spots, African rest camps and places of interest.

Day 4: Tremisana Lodge in Balule Game Reserve, Kruger

Enjoy a rise and shine game drive in Balule Game Reserve. After a hearty breakfast there is time to take final photographs of the African wilderness area and this magnificent nature reserve in South Africa before departing. You will drive to the beautiful Blyde River Canyon and view the Three Rondawels, then return to Gauteng in the afternoon. Airport dropoff can be arranged.

Optional day 5: Moholoholo Rehabilitation Project

Start day 5 of your Kruger Park accommodated safari with a delicious breakfast. You will then visit the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Project where you learn more about caring for orphaned animals. Lunch is served at the Cheetah Inn before relaxing at Marc's Treehouse Lodge. Look forward to an afternoon game drive in the Motlala Game Reserve. Keep an eye out for Rhino and Leopard before making your way back to Tremisana Lodge for dinner.
